Konya´s food culture has been shaped by the influence of Seljuk palaces, Mevlevi traditions and Ottoman cuisine culture. Both the effects of Bozkir, the magnificent nature of the Taurus and the influence of these two different regions from one end of Konya to the other have created different and special food cultures. The book named The Cuisine Culture of Konya was published in order to attribute the convey of the Cuisine Culture of Konya and Konya cuisine to future generations.
