Islamic thought has been squeezed between the abundant perspectives of classic methodology and the modern methodology which prioritize pragmatism and serviceableness. If one analyzes it from the point of theology education one can see many different problems whether it be in the curriculum or in the religious perception. The meeting had been held to put this topic in the agenda, to show different point of views and evaluate them. The book "Islamic Commentary Between Tradition and Modernity" has been established by collecting the meeting contents.
