In the book titled The Insuring of Participation Banks and Participation Funds, participation banks and the insurance of their funds are discussed. Religious, philosophical and moral approaches to interest have led to the existence of the bank customers who want to stay away from interest. This necessitates the existence of interest-free banking institutions in the market in addition to traditional banks that use interest as the main concept. The fact that participation banks, which operate on the principle of Participation in Profit and Loss, are under the guarantee of the SDIF/Insurance of Participation Funds has made it questionable whether the system is in line with its spirit.
