About us
Our publishing journey started in 2012 as Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Kültür Yayinlari (Necmettin Erbakan University Cultural Publications). After operating under this name for eight years, in 2020, it took on a new structure under the name of “Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Yayinlari“ (Necmettin Erbakan University Publications), which includes “Printing Centre”, “Typesetting & Graphic Design”, “Academic Translation” and “Statistics and Data Analysis” departments in order to bring a new breeze to university publishing, to be sustainable and branded in this field. Through this transformation, it´s aimed to carry out the scientific publishing activities of our university in coordination with scientific journal activities, internationalisation, and branding. In line with this goal, it has made a series of agreements with world-renowned publishers and compilers within the scope of cooperation and partnership. Solution partnerships have started with the world´s largest publishers such as Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley, Sage, as well as compilers and platforms such as EBSCO, Web of Science, ProQuest, etc.
Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Yayinlari has become the Necmettin Erbakan University Press (NEU Press) brand on a global scale with the cooperation agreements made and continues its publishing life with more than 20 scientific journals and more than 300 scientific books with its international publishing house identity.
As NEU Press, for the first time in Türkiye, an agreement has been made with EBSCO and the publications in our inventory have been electronically scanned in the EBSCO Collection Manager (ECM), which includes the most preferred e-books worldwide. In addition, the books of “NEU Press” are scanned in the Book Citation Index (BKCI), which is part of the Web of Science, and the proceedings of scientific meetings are scanned in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI). Our publications are also scanned and indexed by WorldCat, the largest online public access catalogue in the world. As a matter of fact, these indexing and crawling make the books searchable by millions of users worldwide, enabling researchers to present their work to a wide audience and identify emerging research trends and potential collaborations.
