The Age of Chiefdoms has a significant place in the Turkification and Islamisation of Anatolia and the transfer of the ancient civilisation to the present. The symposiums, in which a chiefdom is the subject of each year, aim to reveal the information database of the political, social, economic, cultural, religious, artistic ... elements of this period and to transfer this rich heritage to future generations. These chiefdoms were discussed in the Chiefdoms of Sahibatanids and Turgutanids Symposium, which was hosted by Afyon Kocatepe University and later turned into a book.
