The birth of architecture dates back to the beginning of human history with the space produced to meet the need for
shelter, which is the first and basic need of human beings. Throughout history, shelter spaces, which have continued to
be important as the primary spatial need, have been planned in accordance with the way of life, traditions, local materials
and the spirit of the place in the process from the past to the present. The book titled Housing Culture II, includes
different studies in sub-themes such as local governments and housing policies, migration and housing problems,
disaster/risk management and housing, traditional/rural architecture in Anatolia, pandemic and housing, reading the
housing phenomenon through the relationship between culture and space, the effect of modernism on housing spaces
