Herbs supply oxygen and required nutritions to maintain human life and protects health. Thousand years ago humans
did understand the medical ability of plants and did benefit from them for healthy life. Folk medicine whose practices
have been quite popular in Anatolia have been transmitted through hundred of years of experience to the present day.
Most medicines which are beeing used in modern medicine are obtained by herbs. In this context, Medicinal and
Aromatic Plants Symposium was held in order to benefit from this richness of herbs diversity grown in Türkiye. In
conclusion the book Medical and Aromatic Herbs book has been published.
