International Studentship in the World and Türkiye is a revised version of the theory chapter of the PhD thesis titled
International Student Policy of the State and Civil Society in Türkiye in the Context of Historical Detachment and
Contiunity, completed in May 2020 at Necmettin Erbakan University Department of Sociology. Türkiye's
internationalisation and international student policy has been written on the basis of both the views in the dominant
literature and a historical/regional perspective specific to TÜrkiye and the unique practices and discourses that have
emerged in Türkiye on the subject. In this sense, the study is one of its kind in the Turkish literature.
