The worldwide spread of the Covid-19 virus to the extent of an epidemic has affected all humanity, especially human
health, economically and socially. Although households, private sector institutions and the public sector, especially
economic units, have taken various measures to minimise the negative effects of the pandemic, the pandemic process is
still ongoing as of the end of 2021. The values that Islamic economics and finance have and emphasise their importance
come to the fore in the fight against the negative effects of the pandemic. Accordingly, the book examines the general
economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the issues raised by the pandemic in terms of fiqh, and its effects on financial
contracts, participation banks, participation insurance and other sectors. In addition, it reveals the social policies during
the pandemic and the role of social institutions of Islamic economics. The book is not only aimed at readers who are
interested in the field of Islamic economics, but also addresses readers of all kind, bringing together the views of
academics and industry experts to address the effects of Covid-19 from different perspectives.
