The migration of Alevis to Europe has led to a re-examination of their religious and cultural identities. The phenomena
of Anatolian Alevism, European Alevism and Diasporic Alevism have been mentioned and differentiations have
emerged. In this context, the book Alevism in Europe through the Eyes of the Remaining Ones - Society - Identity -
Social Stratification determines how the potential for differentiation is evaluated by the first-degree relatives of
immigrant Alevis. Thus, the book is based on one-to-one interviews with people directly related to the issue. Through
observing people, testing and processing theoretical knowledge, it deals with Alevism, which has been a socio-cultural
and religious issue of Anatolian lands for centuries. In this context, the book draws attention to the various dimensions of
Alevism, which has become a transnational issue beyond the borders of the country.
