One of the most important values that preserve the society is undoubtedly history. A nation, in order to continue its
existence and march into the future with robust steps, must give its generations a sense of history and teach them the
great historical figures that they can take as examples. Therefore, Necmettin Erbakan University aims to present the
lives of our important and great sultans who have shaped history to our people and especially to our youth in an
accurate way, with the presentation of the researchers being experts in their fields. Thus, Necmettin Erbakan University
have started to publish a series about the rulers of the Great Seljukian State, which has a distinguished position in world
and Islamic history. In order to introduce the important and great sultans of the Great Seljukian State, the series has been
developed as a Turkish Sultans Series/Great Seljukian R&D Project.
