Patient-doctor relationships are quite significant in health care. First of all, doctors apply the latest information in
treatment and treat patients as their own relatives. The doctor, who is the warrantor of his patient, works juste by
applying the principles of his job properly, evaluating according to his field of expertise and taking the rule of law as a basis.
The patient then has to trust the doctor he choosed and consent to the result of the treatment. The book Basic
Knowledge Regarding Medical Law includes brief information given about the legal issues that are closely related to
doctors (Civil Law, Constitutional Law, Turkish Code of Obligations Law, Turkish Penal Law, Criminal Procedure Law,
Administrative Trial Law and Insurance Law).
