Kashgai Turkish is a unique member of the Oghuz group. It belongs to the Southern Subgroup of Oghuz in terms of its
linguistic features and its position in the Oghuz area. The book tittled Yettim Yal (Hill of Yettim) is based on the poems in
the work Yettim Yal by Evezullah Seferi Keshkollu, one of the contemporary Kashgai poets. In the book, Kashgai Turks
are introduced under the topics of history, geography, population, literature and language. Based on the language
material presented in the translated texts, the grammar of Kashgai Turkish is presented. In addition, the poems have
been translated into Türkiye Turkish and an index of the words in the poems have been prepared.
