its facets. On one side, strategic alliances are seen as a source of competitive advantage and provide advantages such as
resource and competence sharing, innovation and technology development, co-production, risk of accessing new
markets, reducing uncertainty and cost. However, on the other side, they are disadvantageous due to situations such as
